A Storied Heritage

A Storied Heritage

Inspired by childhood visits to a Capuchin crypt in Rome and her passion for the organic architecture of Antoni Gaudí, Peretti designed the Bone cuff in 1970. Over 50 years later, the collection includes an array of designs that play with material, scale and form – each one a testament to Peretti’s visionary creativity.
“To translate ideas is magic. It takes so long to make a curve, to make sure the curve is done well.”

Peretti explored nature with the acumen of a scientist and the vision of a sculptor. Her legendary designs, including the Bone cuff, were immortalised in the many advertisements to emerge from her lifelong artistic partnership with the renowned photographer Hiro.
