Tiffany’s renowned legacy of supporting the arts continues with a new unique partnership with Outset Contemporary Art Fund. The Tiffany & Co. x Outset Studiomakers Prize will be awarded to seven graduates from London’s most notable art colleges. Each winner will receive year-long access to a rent-free studio as well as a shared gallery space in North London.
The prize is designed to foster creativity during a formative time in the recipients’ post-university lives by providing them with creative workspaces. This initiative comes at a crucial time when such artists’ accommodations in London are in decline, and even predicted to drop by as many as 3,500 by 2019, according to a recent study by the Greater London Authority.
The Tiffany & Co. x Outset Studiomakers Prize will be bestowed upon one exemplary MA Fine Art graduate from each of the following top schools: the Royal Academy, The Royal College of Art, Slade School of Fine Art, Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College of Arts, Wimbledon College of Arts and Goldsmiths University of London.
The esteemed judging panel, comprised of celebrated experts in art and journalism, will include South London Gallery director Margot Heller OBE, Nottingham Contemporary director Sam Thorne, artist Eddie Peake, editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar and Town & Country UK, Justine Picardie, and Richard Moore, Tiffany & Co.’s VP & creative director of store design and creative visual merchandising.
Tiffany & Co. is proud to contribute to an initiative that nurtures future generations of creators and craftsmen, guided by a strong belief in giving back to the greater community.
